Port of Oakland obtains full defense verdict in discrimination and wrongful termination case

Jones Day defended Port of Oakland against discrimination and wrongful termination claims. After a seven day jury trial, Jones day obtained a full defense verdict on behalf of the Employer. The Jones Day team eliminated five of the plaintiff's six claims on summary adjudication leaving only the age discrimination claim for trial. The jury found for the Port of Oakland after only six hours of deliberations.
