Fund manager obtains $35 million judgment against guarantors

Jones Day acted for a New York based fund manager in relation to claims in excess of US$35 million against certain guarantors. The claims were brought pursuant to the terms of guarantees provided in connection with an asset based lending facility. Summary judgment was successfully obtained and upheld following appeals to both the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
