Leading restaurant chain obtains dismissal in unlawful interference with contract action
Client(s) Leading casual restaurant chain
Jones Day successfully represented a leading casual restaurant chain and defeated claims of unlawful interference with a contract related to the operations of its Mexican franchisee. The plaintiff filed suit seeking, among other things, our client's complete divestiture from the Mexican market. Jones Day opposed the plaintiff's motion for a preliminary injunction and filed a motion to dismiss. The trial court granted the motion to dismiss with prejudice and denied the preliminary injunction motion as moot.
