Kraft Heinz obtains Eighth Circuit affirmation of defeat of race discrimination and sexual harassment suit

Jones Day successfully defeated a race discrimination and sexual harassment lawsuit on behalf of Kraft Heinz Foods Company. The plaintiff alleged that she was terminated based on her race and that, prior to her termination, she was sexually harassed by another employee. The company filed a motion to dismiss based on a statute of limitations defense, and the motion was granted on May 20, 2015. The United States Court of Appeal for the Eight Circuit affirmed the dismissal on February 1, 2016.
