CSJV litigates disputes with Field Deployment Solutions Pty Ltd

Client(s) Clough Sea Trucks Joint Venture

Jones Day acts for the Clough Seatrucks Joint Venture (a joint venture between SC Projects Australia Pty Ltd and Seatrucks Australia Pty Ltd). The Clough Seatrucks Joint Venture commenced proceedings in the Supreme Court of Western Australia to seek to recover costs and damages incurred by a subcontractor, Field Deployment Solutions Pty Ltd, due to its breach of contract and inability to perform its obligations relating to rehabilitation works on the Gorgon natural gas project in Western Australia. Jones Day's representation has, as the dispute has progressed, expanded to seeking the winding up of Field Deployment Solutions in insolvency, and the recovery of its claims from the company in liquidation.
