Colorado Community Health Alliance forms joint venture with Anthem to serve Colorado Medicaid beneficiaries

Jones Day advised Centura Health, one of Colorado's largest health systems, in connection with the formation of CCHA, LLC. CCHA, LLC is a joint venture between Colorado Community Health Alliance, LLC, an integrated health care provider network affiliated with Centura, and Anthem Partnership Holding Company LLC, a subsidiary of Anthem, Inc. CCHA, LLC was formed for the purpose of entering into a contract with the State of Colorado's Medicaid Program to serve as a "Regional Accountable Entity" for the State of Colorado's Medicaid Program. As a Regional Accountable Entity, the venture is a critical component of the State of Colorado's efforts to transform and improve its Medicaid program, and is responsible for providing, integrating and coordinating both physical and behavioral health services and promoting enrollee engagement in preventative and therapeutic health care.
