Qualcomm successfully defends patent claims against IPR challenge

Jones Day represented Qualcomm Incorporated in successfully defending patent claims against inter partes review ("IPR") petitions filed by Intel Corporation against U.S. Patent No. 8,838,949, which relates to multi-processor computer systems. The PTAB upheld the patentability of independent claim 1 and several other claims in its March 2020 final written decision.
