Jones Day was retained by an electronic payment processor to obtain cyber insurance coverage following a data breach resulting in potential access to PII and PHI. The Jones Day team assessed our client's insurance coverage and pursued recovery for incident response costs and legal fees. Jones Day had previously helped the client strengthen its cyber insurance coverage by advising on its policy renewals.
