DAS sells credit management business Cannock Chase

Client(s) DAS Holding N.V.

Jones Day assisted DAS Holding N.V. and DAS Legal Finance in the sale of their credit management business, Cannock Chase, by means of an auction sale process. DAS Holding has for years consisted of two pillars, an insurance business and a bailiff business. Based on a significant change in Dutch legislation, DAS was forced to sell its bailiff business. Jones Day has assisted DAS in this process, which included several transactions over the years, and will return to its core insurance business.
