Monica Brown is a commercial litigator whose practice spans internal investigations, government enforcement actions, and high-stakes business disputes in state and federal courts and in arbitration. Monica represents companies in sophisticated commercial, construction, technology, labor and employment, and white collar matters, with a focus on efficient case management and strategic motion practice.

Monica's recent work includes representing a national pharmacy in nationwide litigation related to opioid dispensing and distribution practices. She also has served as lead counsel for Experian in more than 10 matters across arbitration forums and federal courts throughout the United States. In these and other engagements, she counsels clients prelitigation, drafts dispositive motions, prepares for and takes depositions, manages written and electronic discovery, works with expert witnesses, prepares for trial and mediation, negotiates favorable settlements for Firm clients, appears in federal courts, and handles hearings in arbitration.

Committed to professional development and service, Monica is an active member of the Garland R. Walker Inn of Court and the Houston Young Lawyers Association, and she serves on the 2024 Graduating Class Committee for the Texas Law Alumni Association. Prior to attending law school, Monica performed in more than 20 professional stage productions across the country and published more than 30 theatrical reviews in New York City. Her pro bono interests include post-conviction advocacy through the Texas Innocence Project.
