Letizia Gianni has more than eight years of experience in competition law, including governmental roles in Italy and Brussels. Specifically, Letizia served with the DG Competition of the European Commission in Brussels and worked as a special legal advisor to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Letizia's practice focuses on merger control, government investigations, cartels, and antitrust compliance. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2023, Letizia handled a number of high-profile cases with the European Commission and in private practice spanning a variety of industrial sectors such as transportation, energy, pharma, medical devices, chemicals, consumer goods, telecoms, and media.

She is member of the American Bar Association (Antitrust Section).
