Trained in civil law and common law, Cassien Hugot focuses his practice on international commercial arbitration, investment arbitration, and arbitration-related proceedings before French courts.

Cassien has acted in arbitration proceedings conducted under the auspices of various arbitral institutions, including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and the Chambre Arbitrale Internationale de Paris (CAIP). He has particular experience advising and representing companies and states in the energy, construction, telecommunications, and luxury sectors in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2023, Cassien undertook internships with several international law firms in London, Paris, and Munich.
