Carlos Lievano advises and represents developers, investors, and lenders in a variety of real estate and financing matters. Carlos's practice includes the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of commercial and multifamily residential real estate.
During his career, Carlos has represented lenders in financing transactions related to mixed-use developments, hospitality, multifamily, retail, and vacant land, and he has represented developers in transactions ranging from zoning and land use matters, to industrial and commercial transactions, to affordable housing projects.
Carlos is committed to Jones Day's culture of pro bono. He previously assisted foster parents in contested adoptions and frequently partners with local organizations to teach high school students ethical governance. Carlos served as a member of the Art in the Tropics Committee of the Cuban American Bar Association and is proud to have served on the board of the National Latina/o Law Student Association.
