Eric Leis represents clients at all stages of complex civil litigation in federal and state courts. He has experience in developing factual records through discovery, researching complex legal issues, and drafting briefs and motions.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2024, Eric served as a law clerk to Judge David Porter of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and to Judge Nora Barry Fischer of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Before attending law school, Eric served in the United States Navy as a surface warfare officer and as a nuclear engineering officer.
