Andy Ryngaert focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and disputes in state and federal courts. Andy has substantial writing experience, serving as the principal author of motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, discovery motions, mediation statements, and complaints. Andy's briefing experience extends to complex issues of contract interpretation, bankruptcy law, antitrust law, and civil procedure. Andy has also handled many other aspects of civil litigation, including preparing for evidentiary hearings, arguing dispositive motions, overseeing the preparation of expert reports, and managing discovery.

Before joining Jones Day, Andy served as a federal law clerk to Judge Jonathan A. Kobes on the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and to Judge Andrew S. Hanen on the Southern District of Texas.
