Bijan Tavakoli vertritt seit mehr als zehn Jahren Mandanten im Bereich des öffentlichen Wirtschaftsrechts. Er berät Unternehmen, Investoren und die öffentliche Hand zu allen öffentlich-rechtlichen und regulatorischen Fragen, einschließlich in komplexen Gerichtsverfahren, im Transaktionskontext und im Zusammenhang mit Compliance-Projekten.

Seine Praxis umfasst Grundsatzfragen des deutschen Verfassungs- und Verwaltungsrecht und des Europarechts ebenso wie Spezialfragen des Umwelt- und Planungsrechts und des Immissionsschutzrechts. Weitere Schwerpunkte seiner Beratungstätigkeit bilden das Telekommunikationsrecht, das Luftverkehrsrecht und das Energierecht, letzteres mit Fokus auf dem Recht der erneuerbaren Energien.

Bijan Tavakoli ist erfahrener Verfahrens- und Prozessanwalt. Regelmäßig vertritt er Mandanten in behördlichen Verfahren und in Rechtsstreitigkeiten vor nationalen und europäischen Gerichten. Er hat zahlreiche Mandanten in Verfahren vor europäischen Behörden sowie vor dem EuGH, vor Schiedsgerichten und vor deutschen Verwaltungs- und Zivilgerichten, vertreten.

Bijan Tavakoli war für mehrere Jahre als Rechtsreferent im Sekretariat der Vereinten Nationen in New York tätig. Er war zudem wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches öffentliches Recht und Völkerrecht.
