Lillian He leads Jones Day's China Global Disputes team and has more than a decade of experience handling high-profile cross-border disputes, investigations, and compliance matters. Lillian also has extensive experience advising multinational companies on data privacy, cybersecurity, and data breach incident response matters. Lillian advises clients in a wide range of industries with a particular focus on the life sciences and technology sectors.
Lillian has led investigations involving a variety of subjects, including corruption, trade secret theft, cybercrime, and environmental crimes. She recently assisted several U.S. public companies in responding to government inquiries into violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) in Asia and assisted in global compliance reviews for multinationals with significant operations in Asia.
Lillian also represents Chinese clients in cross-border litigations, arbitrations, and investigations. She recently assisted a Chinese financial institution in responding to a U.S. government subpoena in a significant investigation and obtaining approval from the Chinese Ministry of Justice.
