Guillaume Monnier advises issuers and underwriters in debt and equity capital markets transactions as well as public M&A transactions. His experience includes initial public offerings (IPOs), rights issues/capital increases, block trades, convertible and exchangeable bonds, stand-alone issues, debt securities under euro medium-term note (EMTN) programmes, and liability management. Furthermore, Guillaume regularly advises companies listed in France on their periodic and ongoing disclosure requirements.
Since joining Jones Day in 2020, Guillaume has advised issuers and bank syndicates on capital market transactions involving Alchimie, Forsee Power, Lhyfe, Spartoo, and Waga Energy (IPOs); DEE Tech (SPAC/special purpose acquisition company); Compagnie des Alpes, Carbios, EDAP TMS, Forsee Power, MedinCell, OSE Immunotherapeutics, Valneva, and Waga Energy (rights issues/capital increases); Bombardier and SC de l'Ermitage Saint Joseph (block trades); Bigben Interactive and Voltalia (convertible/exchangeable bonds); EDF (liability management); Sanofi/Opella Healthcare (public M&A); and H2O Innovation (delisting).
Prior to joining Jones Day, Guillaume practiced at an international law firm in Paris.
