Mr. Doñate has more than 20 years of experience advising clients in complex civil and commercial litigation proceedings, as well as in the area of domestic and cross-border arbitration. At Jones Day, Mr. Doñate joins a team of more than 200 lawyers in the Global Disputes Practice, who are located in more than 25 business centers worldwide. The practice serves clients in some of the most challenging jurisdictions around the world and in some of the highest-value disputes in those jurisdictions. Mr. Doñate's hire continues the growth of the Global Disputes Practice in Europe and is an important addition at a time when clients are facing extensive risk across the continent.

Mr. Doñate also has been an associate professor of Procedural Law at the Instituto de Empresa (IE Law School) for more than 10 years and an associate professor in the Master's Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).

"Pablo has invested more than two decades developing a track record of excellence in client service and building a reputation as one of Spain's most prominent corporate disputes lawyers," said Marta Delgado Echevarría, Partner-in-Charge of Jones Day's Madrid Office. "It is my great privilege to welcome him to our team at Jones Day and I look forward to serving our clients alongside him here in Madrid."

Mr. Doñate earned his LL.M. at the IE Law School and his LL.B. from ICADE. He also completed the Advance Programme on Litigation and Advance Programme on Arbitration at IE Law School, as well as a Diploma of Advanced Studies from the Universidad Nacional de Educación.
