Sophie Hagège has more than 25 years of experience advising clients in multijurisdictional M&A. Her experience extends to the creation of joint ventures, strategic alliances, commercial and industrial agreements, as well as outsourcing projects. She is Partner-in-Charge of the Paris Office.
Sophie is active in the chemical and life science sectors. She represented Total in several disposal projects including the divestitures of Atotech to the Carlyle Group and of Total's worldwide adhesives business to Arkema. She assisted Rhodia (now Solvay) in more than 30 merger, acquisition, and joint venture projects, including the disposition and restructuring of its acetic acid, soda ash, polyester, gallium, food, latex, and silicon businesses. She also advised Novartis, Sanofi, Stallergenes, and LFB in various M&A transactions and strategic alliances worldwide. In addition, she advises SNAM on French corporate issues.
Sophie has experience representing clients in the infrastructure sector. She represented Alcatel-Lucent in several cross-border transactions and assisted Wabtec Corporation in its acquisition of Faiveley Transport and Bombardier in the sale of its stake in Alstom SA.
