Raymond Diggs concentrates his practice on the formation, structuring, and management of investment funds, including private equity and real estate funds. He has experience advising sponsors in fund formation, governance, and regulatory compliance, as well as with respect to investment management arrangements, co-investments, and secondary transactions. In addition, he represents institutional investors at each stage of the investment process, including primary investment, secondary investment, and co-investment in buyout, venture, private credit, and real estate funds. Raymond also has experience in mergers, acquisitions, venture capital, and other strategic transactions.

Some of the clients Raymond has worked with include The Riverside Company and Sky Island Capital. On the investor side, Raymond has worked with several multinational institutional investors.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2022, Raymond served on Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan's Jobs and Economic Development team, where he advised on various matters, including economic policy, permitting, zoning, tax incentive, and infrastructure issues. At the start of his legal career, Raymond worked at a large, Detroit-based law firm.
