Nick Hodges represents public and private companies in complex litigation and government investigations throughout the United States.
Nick has experience in all stages of litigation, including trials, appeals, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and discovery. Nick's experience covers a variety of matters, including trade secrets, data privacy and cybersecurity, securities fraud, products liability, antitrust, public nuisance, RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act), unfair competition, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. Nick also defends clients in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and state attorneys general involving possible violations of the False Claims Act (FCA), the Anti-Kickback Statutes (AKS), the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and state public nuisance laws. Nick maintains an active pro bono practice.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Nick clerked in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
