Ally McQueen represents clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters and counsels companies and individuals facing internal and governmental investigations.
Ally has extensive experience representing clients in a wide range of civil lawsuits, including litigation brought pursuant to the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA), purported class actions, and proceedings involving negligence, fraud, and breach of contract claims. Ally's diverse litigation experience has included briefing and motions practice, fact development and investigation, discovery management, depositions, witness preparation, and settlement negotiations.
Ally has served as the lead associate on numerous internal and governmental investigations, including those involving human trafficking, executive-level employee misconduct, and discrimination and hostile work environment allegations. Ally also works on matters involving police misconduct and reform, including local and federal constitutional policing investigations and work on behalf of the Chicago Police Board.
Ally is highly active in the Firm's pro bono practice, including representing victims of human trafficking and sexual assault in connection with the investigation and criminal prosecution of their abusers and traffickers. Ally represents victims of childhood sexual abuse in seeking restitution from both their initial abusers and from defendants who possess and further distribute their child sexual abuse material (CSAM). In partnership with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Ally prepared a manual providing guidance to attorneys representing victims of online distribution of CSAM, which was published in November 2021. Ally has also represented victims of domestic, political, and gang violence who are seeking asylum in the United States.
