Charlotte Moorhouse's practice focuses on employment and human resources matters. Charlotte advises clients across a broad range of industry sectors in all areas of contentious and noncontentious UK employment law.
Charlotte advises on UK employment law and day-to-day employment matters, including appointments and handling sensitive departures; restructuring and redundancy exercises; employment status and worker classification issues; key strategic human resources projects, including introducing global policies and procedures and staff handbooks; navigating disciplinary and grievance issues; and employee data privacy.
Charlotte also advises on contentious employment matters, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, and breach of contract, as well as enforcement of restrictive covenants and team moves.
As part of her noncontentious work, Charlotte counsels on the employment aspects of corporate and commercial transactions, including share sales, business transfers, and joint ventures.
Charlotte is a member of the UK Employment Lawyers Association (ELA).
