Laura Meaden has extensive experience throughout the country representing clients in state and federal courts in a wide variety of corporate and commercial litigation. Laura has successfully represented clients involving a broad range of substantive areas that includes breach of contract, officer and director liability, partnership and shareholder disputes, business torts, accountants' liability, False Claims Act, ERISA disputes, insurance coverage, and complex product liability lawsuits alleging toxic exposures and design defects.
Laura was an adjunct professor for more than 12 years at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she taught trial advocacy. She served as the vice president of the board of directors of FISA Foundation, which provides grants to nonprofit organizations supporting quality of life issues for adults and children with disabilities and health needs of women and girls. She is currently a member of the board of directors of the American Red Cross of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Laura was a shareholder and director of a Pittsburgh-based law firm.
