Kevin Riddles is a trial lawyer who defends clients in complex product liability and consumer class action litigation in state and federal courts nationwide. In addition, Kevin counsels clients on various issues affecting their business, including corporate separateness and litigation risk management. He also has experience with Congressional investigations and preparation for Congressional hearings. Kevin is currently focusing on product liability matters in connection with the Firm's representation of the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. His other representations have included H&R Block and Procter & Gamble.
Kevin has served as second-chair trial counsel in multiple Engle progeny smoking and health lawsuits brought against R.J. Reynolds in Florida and has participated as an integral member of trial teams in numerous jury trials. Kevin has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, including briefing and motions practice, oral argument, offensive and defensive discovery, taking fact and expert depositions, the development and preparation of expert witnesses for trial, and examination of fact and expert witnesses at trial. Kevin has worked extensively with experts across many fields, including medicine (including pulmonology, pathology, cardiology, oncology, urology, radiology, psychiatry, psychology, toxicology, and epidemiology), economics, federal regulatory matters, marketing and advertising, and internal business records and conduct.
