For nearly two decades, Darcy White has helped public, private, strategic, and sponsor clients navigate complex M&A, commercial transaction, and corporate governance challenges and opportunities. She has represented clients in various domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, stock acquisitions, divisional asset acquisitions and dispositions, and joint ventures. She also has represented companies in a wide variety of industries, such as information technology, biotechnology, financial services, automotive services, medical devices, manufacturing, and management consulting.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Darcy represented the General Electric Company in transactions that included the disposition by the GE Power division of its core controls business to Emerson Electric Co., as well as an additives joint venture between the GE Aviation division and Allegheny Technologies Incorporated. She also represented TDR Capital in various portfolio company acquisitions, dispositions, and bolt-on transactions in the mortgage services and automotive services industries; Christie Digital Systems USA in multiple acquisitions and dispositions in the audio-visual solutions and medical device industries; and Blackstone's Tactical Opportunities Group in the take-private transaction of R.G. Barry Corporation, a supplier of lifestyle shoe and bag brands.

Darcy is dedicated to pro bono work. She has helped multiple charitable organizations obtain nonprofit status and has provided many nonprofits with corporate and transactional-related advice. Darcy is a member of the board of directors of the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network (GAIN), the board of trustees of The Woodruff Arts Center, and the advisory committee of Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta. She is also a past board member of Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and past board co-chair of ServiceJuris, Inc.
