Jones Day's Ashley Gullett named to The Deal's 2023 "Top Women In Dealmaking"
The Deal has named partner Ashley Gullett to its 2023 list of "Top Women in Dealmaking."
Based in the Firm's Columbus Office, Ms. Gullett serves as the lead lawyer on numerous complex business transactions involving private and public companies and private equity funds and acts as the primary legal advisor for numerous privately held companies. Her experience includes an assortment of deal structures, including leveraged buyouts, divestitures, mergers, carve-outs, cross-border transactions, minority investments, and distressed transactions inside and outside of bankruptcy proceedings. She also advises clients on significant commercial transactions.
Recent highlights include her representation on the following transactions:
- Integrated Power Services' acquisition of Tampa Armature Works
- Riverside's acquisition of CORE Higher Education Group
- Ahlström Capital's acquisition of 20% of Bast Fibre Technologies
Ms. Gullett teaches a course on Mergers & Acquisitions to 2Ls and 3Ls at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. An active leader in the Columbus, Ohio, community and at Jones Day, she serves on, and is the immediate past chair of, the board of directors of VOICEcorps Reading Service, a nonprofit organization that provides services to the visually impaired.
