Thao Donnelly joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2024. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day. Thao will be focusing on litigation while supporting the Global Disputes, Intellectual Property, and Business & Tort Litigation practices.

During law school, Thao gained valuable writing and fact-finding skills while interning with the District Attorney Office's of Santa Clara County, and she also has experience with immigration law matters. Thao is a native Vietnamese speaker and a member of the Vietnamese American Bar Association of North California.
