Andy Levine is co-chair of Jones Day's Corporate Practice, with responsibility for the Firm's Global M&A and Private Equity areas of focus. He has led global transactions, activism defenses, and governance matters for strategic participants and sponsors, including ABM Industries, BioMarin, Bombardier, Brookfield, Cardinal Health, Centre Lane Partners, City of Hope, EagleTree Capital, J.F. Lehman & Company, Monster Beverage, Pegasus Capital, Procter & Gamble, Verizon, and WL Ross & Co.

Andy's recent matters include ABM's $830 million acquisition of Able Services; BioMarin's announcement of governance enhancements; EagleTree Capital's acquisitions of Summit Hill Foods, MMGY Global, PRA Events, Mackenzie-Childs, Integreon, and CORSAIR; J.F. Lehman's $5.2 billion consortium acquisition of Atlas Air and its single-asset continuation fund for NorthStar Group; Monster Beverage's $3 billion self-tender offer; KKR's acquisition of IVI-RMA; Procter & Gamble's $4.2 billion acquisition of Merck KGaA's consumer health business; Verizon's $3.6 billion sale of data center sites to Equinix; Galenica's $1.5 billion acquisition of Relypsa; Stillwater Mining's $2.2 billion acquisition by Sibanye Gold; and ITC Holdings' $11.3 billion acquisition by Fortis.

He has substantial experience in activism defense, distress M&A, joint ventures, special committee transactions, and corporate governance. Andy has worked in a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals and health care, consumer goods and retail, telecommunications, real estate, financial services, facility services, advertising and marketing, energy, and manufacturing.

Andy is a frequent author on Delaware law developments, M&A, and governance issues and has appeared as a commentator on CNBC's Squawk Box and Bloomberg TV and radio.
