Ming-Wei Lo is a leading lawyer who offers clients an exceptional combination of litigation experience with keen insight on Taiwan corporate governance, focusing on Investment Company Act and Securities Exchange Act litigation.
Ming-Wei's extensive experience has ranged from the successful representation of clients in highly publicized civil and criminal cases involving insider trading, breach of trust, and financial statement fraud. He also advises Taiwan-listed companies with respect to corporate control battles and legal compliance for shareholder and board meetings.
Ming-Wei actively participates in corporate governance organizations. He sits on the Corporate Governance and M&A Committee of the Taipei Bar Association and serves as a director of the Taiwan Corporate Governance Association and often speaks on and publishes articles related to corporate governance issues.
Ming-Wei has advised clients with merger and acquisitions, overseas investments, and acquisitions or dispositions of important company assets, especially in the financial, high-tech, sports, and media industries.
Additionally, Ming-Wei has assisted Taiwan high-tech companies with their trade secrets protection and litigation cases. He has counseled multiple media companies in their license and permit negotiations with government agencies and has represented clients in government litigation, achieving successful results.

Won an eminent domain case for a client before the Administrative Supreme Court.
Won administrative proceedings against the government for reacquiring a broadcast charter of a radio station and for obtaining a permit to provide satellite programs for a Hong Kong satellite broadcast and television company.
