Anton Malakhov is an energy, natural resources, and infrastructure projects lawyer with a particular focus on the energy sector and energy transition.
Anton's practice involves advising on a broad range of matters across the life cycle of international projects, including acquisition, regulation, project development, finance, construction, and operation. Anton has substantial sectoral experience spanning a broad range of asset classes, including power (conventional, renewables, and emerging technologies), hydrogen, CCUS (carbon capture, utilization, and storage), oil and gas, and mining. Anton has experience advising on major projects in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2024, Anton practiced in the London offices of a Magic Circle firm and an international law firm.
