Katie Meili represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters. She has experience with many aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, writing dispositive motions, preparing for hearings, managing witnesses, and legal research.
As part of her active pro bono practice, Katie assisted in helping a client seek habeas relief and in securing monetary damages for a client who was the victim of a hate crime.
Katie previously served as a judicial law clerk in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Katie was a professional swimmer and a member of the United States National Team. She competed at the 2016 Olympic Games, where she won two medals — a gold and a bronze.
