Alyssa Orellana represents clients in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts, as well as in federal criminal investigations. Her experience spans a range of practice areas, including claims for trade secret misappropriation, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the Unfair Competition Law of California (UCL), false advertising, securities fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, and conspiracy. She has experience in all stages of litigation, including factual investigation, drafting complaints, fact and expert discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial.

Alyssa maintains an active pro bono practice and has successfully represented refugees seeking asylum through Jones Day's Border Project. She is also a member of the Women's White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA) San Diego Chapter, Federal Bar Association, and the J. Clifford Wallace Inn of Court.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Alyssa acquired substantial legal research and writing experience during a federal externship with Judge Alexander MacKinnon in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
