Conor Ruane is a private equity and M&A lawyer, with a focus on domestic and cross-border real estate private equity transactions. He has significant experience advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, and joint ventures across multiple real estate asset classes.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2023, Conor worked for an international law firm where he advised Blackstone on, among other transactions, its €21 billion recapitalization of last mile logistics company Mileway, the largest ever private real estate transaction.
He also worked for a leading Australian law firm where he advised ASX-listed and private clients on public and private M&A, capital raisings, and corporate governance matters. During this time he also completed a secondment at multinational oil company, Puma Energy.
