The European Union ("EU") Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive ("CSDDD") was approved by the EU on June 13, 2024, and officially entered into force on July 25, 2024. CSDDD aims to foster sustainable and responsible corporate behavior, both in their own operations and across their global value chains. CSDDD requires that in-scope companies identify and address the adverse human rights and environmental impacts of their actions inside and outside Europe.
