Preslava Dilkova advises on EU regulatory compliance cases, focusing on EU chemicals regulation, including REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals), the CLP Regulation (classification, labelling, and packaging), and the Biocidal Products Regulation.
For nearly a decade, Preslava has counseled on all aspects of REACH (registrations, compliance checks and substance evaluation cases, authorizations, and restrictions). She is closely involved in the management of several REACH registration and authorization consortia ranging from three to 280 participants. She also regularly advises on the Biocidal Products Regulation (product authorization, active substance renewal approval procedure, inclusion into the Article 95 BPR List, derogations under Article 55(1) BPR) and the CLP Regulation (classification issues of multi-constituent mineral substances), as well as litigating cases before the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) Board of Appeal.
In the EU product law area, Preslava's practice covers product recalls related to food, food contact materials, plastics, packaging, electronics, medical devices, construction products, and waste and recycling. Preslava's extensive experience also includes advising on occupational health and safety issues, general product safety, product liability, EU standardization, and technical harmonization.
