Leigh Krahenbuhl represents companies and their directors and officers in high-stakes government and internal investigations and counsels clients on complex corporate compliance matters. She has significant experience conducting sensitive U.S. and cross-border investigations for clients facing criminal, civil, and regulatory compliance issues and advising clients on related crisis management and media relations strategies. Leigh also has handled matters in state and federal courts and has diverse experience with motions practice and appellate briefing.
On behalf of businesses and individuals, Leigh has investigated and defended allegations of financial, securities, health care, and procurement fraud; bribery and other corrupt conduct; money laundering; environmental crimes; trade secret theft; forced labor; and False Claims Act (FCA) violations. She defended one of the world's largest companies through a significant cross-border internal investigation and often handles matters involving complex data management and data privacy issues.
Leigh regularly advises clients on compliance with federal laws, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and on the development and assessment of compliance programs and corporate policies.
