Kate Zeng litigates complex cases with a focus on antitrust and unfair competition, class actions, product liability, and commercial disputes. She has represented companies in many industries, including the technology, education, health care, consumer products, nonprofit, and energy sectors. She has a broad range of experience in all aspects of litigation, including large-scale discovery, motion practice, working with experts and consultants, and trial.

Some of Kate's recent matters include securing a complete defense jury verdict after a five-week trial in a landmark health care antitrust class action. She was also part of the team that was recognized for obtaining a "Top Defense Verdict of 2021 in California" for a summary judgment win on behalf of a leading software company in a case that involved antitrust and trade secret claims. Other representations include defending technology and health care companies in multiple antitrust class actions and helping obtain a unanimous defense verdict for an off-road vehicle manufacturer after a three-month product liability trial.

Kate also spent a year in Jones Day's Shanghai Office where she worked extensively on internal investigations, antitrust, and international litigation matters. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.
