Selma Olthof practices Dutch labor and employment law. She represents multinational and major national companies. She counsels and litigates on a range of employment law issues, including collective and individual dismissals, appointment and dismissal of statutory managing directors, transfer of employees and post-merger integration, works council involvement, amendment and harmonization of employment conditions, contract drafting, noncompete issues, and employment-related data privacy.
Selma has substantial experience in implementing restructurings/reorganizations, the downsizing of workforces, employee hiring, drafting and modifying executive employment contracts, consultancy and management agreements, intra group secondment of employees, and negotiating exit arrangements. She also advises on employee participation rights and on the labor and employment issues related to mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Jones Day she worked at a global law firm in their European employment practice group.
