Sophie Dijkmans represents a range of financial sponsors and corporate clients. Sophie has extensive experience advising on domestic and international M&A for public and private companies, joint ventures, private equity deals, restructuring and carve-outs, general corporate governance issues, real estate transactions, infrastructure and energy projects, and on the formation and structuring of business entities.

Sophie's M&A experience includes advising JBS, the world's largest meat processor, on the acquisition of plant-based protein brand Vivera; SHV Energy on setting up a joint venture with UGI Corporation for the development of renewable energy solutions and the sale of SHV Energy's LPG business Primagaz in the Netherlands to DCC; Husqvarna on the acquisition of Blastrac, a leading provider of surface preparation technologies for the global construction and remediation industry; PETRONAS Chemicals on the acquisition of Da Vinci Group from Bencis Capital Partners (€163 million); and Garmin on the acquisition of Tacx, the leading manufacturer of indoor bike trainers.

Sophie also advised Total on the sale of its chemical division Atotech to The Caryle Group (US$3.2 billion), Hermes Microvision on its sale to ASML Holding in an all cash transaction (US$3.1 billion), NEP Group on its acquisition of Consolidated Media Industries, a major oil & gas service provider on the disposal of a subsidiary in Oman, and a Gulf-based investment group on a multimillion-dollar investment in an oil & gas exploration project in Europe.
