Julia Fine focuses on appellate advocacy and motions practice. She has drafted briefs filed at all levels of the federal courts and has successfully argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2024, Julia served as a law clerk to Justice Amy Coney Barrett of the U.S. Supreme Court, Judge Dabney L. Friedrich of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and Judge Stephanos Bibas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Between clerkships, she worked at a Washington, D.C. law firm where she focused on appeals and motions practice.
