Oliver Hewitt acts for clients in private equity and M&A transactions, with a focus on real estate private equity. He has experience advising clients on portfolio and single-asset acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures (including majority and minority investments), and management mandates. Oliver has advised clients in a broad range of asset classes, including logistics, build-to-rent (BTR), purpose-built student accommodations (PBSA), retail, offices, and hotels.

Oliver's notable recent transactions include advising MARK Capital in its €1.585 billion sale of Crossbay (by Crossbay SCSp RAIF), its specialized pan-European last-mile logistics platform, to Prologis European Logistics Fund and advising Greystar in its formation of a joint venture with GIC to acquire Student Roost. Other clients that Oliver has acted for include Goldman Sachs, ARA Asset Management, British Land, and J.F. Lehman & Company.

In addition, Oliver has served year-long secondments at Goldman Sachs AWM Private (real estate division) and at Greystar Real Estate Partners.
