Emma Plard practices French and European environmental law and works on the implementation of chemicals and products regulations, as well as on all issues relating to facilities classified for the protection of the environment (ICPE) and climate change.
Emma has in-depth experience in PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), covering both regulatory and litigation aspects. She assists clients in the assessment of applicable obligations, the definition and deployment of action plans, exchanges with authorities, as well as the conduct of strategic administrative, civil, and criminal litigation. To this end, she regularly works with various practice areas within the Firm as well as with specialized environmental consulting firms.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2022, Emma completed internships at French law firms, a French administrative court, and a telecommunications company.
