Christian Roberts represents clients in a variety of intellectual property issues, including patent litigation, patent prosecution, and trade secret protection. He has experience before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the USPTO's Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and U.S. district courts, covering a wide range of technologies. His experience spans steel manufacturing equipment, solid-state battery design and manufacturing, touch-sensitive display devices, self-checkout retail systems, sanitation devices, electrical circuits, semiconductors, computer software, and telecommunications.
Christian has assisted clients in defending trade secret misappropriation claims under the Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), inter partes review (IPR) before the PTAB, and prosecuting U.S. and Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) patent applications.
Christian has more than four years of industry experience as a metallurgical engineer for a large steel company, where he focused on process engineering and technical support for automotive manufacturers across North America. Christian leverages his professional experience to provide practical, insightful legal advice to clients.
