Chris Slack is an experienced real estate private equity lawyer. For more than a decade he has advised the Firm's global clients on a wide range of high-profile and strategically significant transactions, including the structuring, formation, and operation of global and pan-regional funds, co-investment structures, programmatic and strategic joint ventures, SMAs (separately managed accounts), and a wide array of real estate fund investments and other liquidity solutions.
Recognized as a "Next Generation Partner" for real estate funds (The Legal 500, 2023), Chris has been singled out for being "highly knowledgeable and creative and quick to identify solutions to complex commercial issues."
He has recently worked with clients such as CBRE Investment Management, Cushman & Wakefield, Delancey, ESR, Greystar, Henderson Park, Lazard Asset Management, MassMutual, MARK, Morgan Stanley, Oxford Properties, and Redevco.
Clients benefit from Chris's wide ranging transactional background, as well as his extensive cross-border experience, having returned to London in 2022 after practicing for five years in Jones Day's Singapore Office, where he was recognized as a "Rising Star" and commended by clients for his "outstanding, solution-driven and efficient work" (The Legal 500 APAC, 2022).
Chris also has served a secondment at Goldman Sachs, where he advised their European Real Estate Principal Investment Area and Infrastructure Investment Group on real estate private equity and infrastructure transactions.
