Ari Volpe's practice focuses on appellate advocacy, civil litigation, and providing strategic advice to clients facing various complex legal challenges.
Ari's practice covers a broad range of substantive areas, including administrative law, statutory interpretation, contract disputes, and jurisdiction. She has drafted briefs in federal trial and appellate courts. Ari also maintains an active pro bono practice, including helping clients seek asylum and habeas relief.
Before joining Jones Day, Ari served as a judicial law clerk on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. While in law school, she helped draft merits briefs and petitions for certiorari before the U.S. Supreme Court as part of Northwestern Law's Supreme Court Clinic.
