Chizuru Yoshida has experience in international and domestic business transactions and general corporate matters, with a particular focus on Japanese regulatory issues, including those in the life sciences and antitrust sectors.
Chizuru advises Japanese and international clients on cross-border M&A, antitrust law matters, and corporate law matters. She also supports clients in internal investigations and efforts to strengthen compliance programs, primarily in the areas of competition laws and bribery issues.
Before joining Jones Day, she worked at a Japanese law firm and advised primarily on corporate and financial matters. She also has experience working for a Japanese financial institution as an in-house lawyer.
Chizuru is a member of the Japan Competition Law Forum, a group of competition lawyers in Japan.
