Lawrence Wang focuses on advising clients on antitrust and competition law matters in major jurisdictions worldwide. He has experience advising clients in premerger notifications, antitrust government investigations and enforcement actions, antitrust counseling and compliance, and private antitrust litigation. He also has experience representing clients in other criminal investigations and litigations in the United States involving government regulation matters. He has represented clients across different industries, including aviation, automotive, chemical, cosmetics, e-commerce, energy, health care, real estate, semiconductor, and technology.

Lawrence has represented Air China Limited and Air China Cargo to successfully resolve a multidistrict, class action litigation brought by customers alleging an international conspiracy to impose fuel surcharges on air cargo shipments. Lawrence has represented clients on numerous premerger notifications, including PotashCorp in the notification for its $38 billion all-stock merger-of-equals with Agrium, NVIDIA in its $7 billion acquisition of Mellanox Technologies, as well as Safran in the notification in connection with its €8.7 billion agreed tender offer targeting Zodiac Aerospace's shares. He has represented a confidential Fortune 500 client in an antitrust investigation in relation to alleged abuse of dominant market position. Lawrence has experience representing clients in internal investigations as well as providing relevant legal advice to clients. In addition, he has represented a confidential Fortune 500 client in a cross-border internal investigation involving potential horizontal anticompetitive agreement, anticorruption, and data protection issues.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2014, Lawrence worked as a legal advisor at an American law firm in Salt Lake City, Utah.
