Ben Ellison focuses his practice on antitrust litigation and investigations, bringing value to clients through his thorough, creative, and effective strategy and advocacy.
In addition to his antitrust work, Ben's experience spans a wide variety of other practice areas, including employment and noncompete matters, government and internal investigations, election law, securities fraud, and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) litigation. He has worked with clients in the banking, medical device, manufacturing, mining, agriculture, and energy sectors, as well as political parties and campaigns.
Ben has represented clients in a variety of trial and appellate courts across the country. He also frequently advises clients on litigation strategy in Minnesota state courts. In 2020, he was involved in four cases before the Minnesota Supreme Court. Ben previously served a temporary stint as a Special Assistant City Attorney for the City of Minneapolis, prosecuting misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor crimes. During that time, Ben tried multiple jury and bench trials.
